Maarten van der Vleuten has delivered superb slices of UoA remixes. Two of them, Snowman Snowman (Come Together Mix) and Technicoloured Snowflakes (Meltdown Mix) will see a limited white label 12inch release in January. A radio edit will be send to radio stations early 2005 and is available for download

The Used Floyd CD, with a reconstruction of the one-off gig where The Use Of Ashes performed a blend of early Floyd, Barrett and Ashes songs, has been shelved until further notice.

ICE 67 OUT ON OCTOBER 25Ice 67 sees The Use Of Ashes return from a five year stay in no man's land. It is the first CD to be released in the band's home country, The Netherlands, on the
Rotterdam based ToneFloat label. The Use Of Ashes remain one of the most elusive
bands ever to come out of Holland, but nevertheless admired by many as can be
judged from their worldwide releases over the years. Ice 67 is an adventurously
produced blend of the band's trademark organic psychedelia, folk and kraut with a
growing touch of electro and techno. The album clocks in at about 45 minutes and includes the songs Second Flowerman, North Star, Rainbird, Snowfield, Ride A Unicorn, Table One Two Three, Ice, Fragrance Hill, Flowers Of Evil. Ice 67 is out now on ToneFloat (TF16) and is distributed by Suburban in Europe. Click
